Thank you for visiting our webpage.

My name’s Josh, and I set-up the original and best-reviewed free walking tour of Manchester nearly 10 years ago Since then, we’ve grown into a small team of three, who are incredibly proud of the experience we’ve crafted over the last ten years.

As Storytellers, History MA graduates, and most importantly proud Mancunians - we wanted to make a walking tour with a difference…

On our entertaining, informative and informal adventure through Manchester, we tell a story: 

The story of a city that shocked the world, when it became the first ever industrialised city. 

The story of a city at the cutting edge of Victorian politics, architecture and technology. 

The story of a city that rose from the rubble of war and industrial decay, to become a swaggering home of poets, ravers, football and music makers.

We tell the story of Manchester.

We animate the city through music, photos, storytelling and a taste-test of a local drink, to reveal Manchester’s top-attractions, as well as lesser known quirks that can only be known by our local guides -

It’s really important to me that our walking tour guides are local and native English-speakers, who work in creative industries, so that you can truly understand Manchester through the eyes of a Mancunian. 

Alongside this, the free Manchester tour offers fantastic photo opportunities, the chance to meet new people, and we offer all our guests a unique list of our top recommendations.
